Thomas B. King is President, CEO and Director of Alexza Pharmaceutical, Inc., joining the company in 2003. From 2002 to 2003, Mr. King was President, CEO and Director of Cognetix, Inc. From 1994 to 2001, Mr. King held various senior executive positions at Anesta Corporation, including President and CEO from 1997 to 2000, and was a board member until Anesta was acquired by Cephalon, Inc. Prior to Anesta, he held commercial and business development positions at Somatogen, Inc., Abbott Laboratories and Anaquest, a division of the BOC Group.
