Joseph Oliverio, President and Chairman of the board, has been instrumental in guiding Positron Corporation’s cardiac PET technology and has provided the vision of their molecular imaging strategy. He practiced as a certified nuclear medicine technologist and has performed over 13,000 cardiac and/or oncology scans, imaged with Positron devices. Mr. Oliverio has worked as a nuclear medicine technologist at the first outpatient cardiology group offering PET, as well as an assistant service engineer for Positron Corporation. Mr. Oliverio was a pioneer as Chief Operating Officer for the first freestanding heart disease reversal and prevention clinic, and the first community based hospital to offer cardiac PET integrated with the emergency room.
