William A. Sanger is President and CEO of Envision Healthcare Holdings, Inc. Mr. Sanger has more than three decades of leadership experience in the health care industry. He was appointed Chairman and CEO of EMSC, Envision’s predecessor company, in 2005. He is a co-founder of BIDON Companies, a diversified health service enterprise, where he has been a managing partner since 1999. He is a member of the board of directors of Carestream Health, a global leader in medical imaging and health care IT; Healogics, the nation’s largest provider of advanced wound care services; and SeriousFun Children’s Network, a global community of camps and programs serving children with serious illnesses. He is also a member of the board of advisers of Altas Partners LP and the Advisory Committee of North Peak Capital LLC. Mr. Sanger served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Cancer Treatment Centers of America, Inc., from 1997 to 2001. From 1994 to 1997, Mr. Sanger was Co-Founder and Executive Vice President of PhyMatrix Corp., then a publicly traded diversified health services company. In addition, he was President and Chief Executive Officer of various other health care entities, including JFK Health Care System, and served as Chairman of the board of Vidacare Corporation, a leader in the field of intraosseous medicine, from 2009 to 2013.
