Daniel Patrick McGahn was named Chief Executive Officer at American Superconductor Corporation (AMSC) in 2011. McGahn first joined AMSC in 2006 as Vice President, Strategic Planning and Corporate Development, and was later promoted to Senior Vice President of Asian Operations. In 2008, McGahn was promoted to Senior Vice President and General Manager at AMSC. In 2009, he was named President and Chief Operating Officer with responsibility for AMSC’s day-to-day global operations. Earlier, Mr. McGahn was Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of Konarka Technologies. Prior to 2003, Mr. McGahn was General Manager and Chief Operating Officer of Hyperion Catalysis.
