Robert Milkovich joined First Potomac Realty Trust as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer in June 2014. He has over 20 years of leadership in the commercial real estate industry. Prior to joining First Potomac, Mr. Milkovich served as President of Spaulding & Slye Investments, a comprehensive real estate investment company that is a wholly owned subsidiary of JLL. Mr. Milkovich managed Spaulding & Slye's portfolio of assets, headed the investment committee, developed the company's investment portfolio strategies, oversaw investment management and sourced capital to co-invest in new business opportunities. Mr. Milkovich also served as Regional Director of Archon Group, L.P., an investment arm of the Merchant Banking Division of Goldman Sachs, where he spearheaded the asset management of $2 billion for their merchant bank, special situations group and other parts of the firm, in addition to generating investment opportunities. He also previously served as a market managing director for CarrAmerica Realty Corporation, a then publicly traded office REIT headquartered in Washington, D.C., with primary responsibilities including overseeing asset management, development activities, portfolio investments and acquisition efforts. Mr. Milkovich graduated with a B.S. in business administration from the University of Maryland. In 2010, he completed the Real Estate Executive Seminar: Capital Markets, Innovative Ventures and Business Strategy course at Harvard Business School. He currently serves as a director and investment committee member for the University System of Maryland Foundation. Andrew P. Blocher joined First Potomac Realty Trust in 2012 as the Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer. He has over 20 years of finance and capital markets experience, including 15 years in the public REIT sector. He oversees the accounting, capital markets, investor relations, information technology and human resources functions. Prior to joining First Potomac, Mr. Blocher was the Chief Financial Officer at Federal Realty Investment Trust. He joined Federal Realty in 2000 as Vice President of Capital Markets and Investor Relations, and was promoted to Senior Vice President in 2007. Mr. Blocher served as Director of Structured Finance Marketing and Modeling at Freddie Mac, and as Vice President of Capital Markets for CRIIMI MAE Inc., a mortgage real estate investment trust, before joining Federal Realty. Mr. Blocher currently sits on the board of directors for Make-A-Wish Mid-Atlantic, a local organization that grants the wishes of children in the Mid-Atlantic region with life-threatening medical conditions, where he chairs the audit and investment committee. In 2014, the Washington Business Journal named Mr. Blocher a CFO of the Year Honoree.
