David M. Morse, Ph.D., is Chairman and CEO of Location Based Technologies, Inc., an innovative wireless technology company based in Irvine, California, that has developed advanced wireless GPS location devices and services that optimize the way businesses manage all mobile assets at any time and from anywhere in the world. Dr. Morse is a former Vice President of Pacific Telesis/Pacific Bell/SBC — now AT&T — where he worked for 20 years. As Vice President of Consumer Sales and Services, Dr. Morse was responsible for approximately 4,000 employees in 26 locations, serving 7 million residential households. He also served as the corporation’s Chief Customer Officer. Dr. Morse is known for best practices that balance customer and shareholder needs while pursuing data-driven solutions. He also is expert in directing strategic and tactical deployment of large-scale operations with the focus of engaging all employees in performance-enhancing behaviors focused on increasing bottom-line profitability. Among the awards he and his team have garnered through the years, Dr. Morse has received the Outstanding Corporate Community Citizenship Award from the President of the United States for his work in the area of science and technology; the Outstanding Corporate Leader Award from Pacific Telesis Corporation; the National Quality Teamwork Award from the USA Rochester Institute of Technology; and the Silver Outstanding Achievement Award for Benchmarking Measures of Customer Satisfaction from the American Productivity and Quality Council. Dr. Morse received his Ph.D. in organizational behavior and development from Columbia Pacific University.
