Jeffrey Siegel is the Chairman of the board of directors and the Chief Executive Officer of Lifetime Brands, Inc. Mr. Siegel has been the company’s CEO since December 2000 and Chairman since June 2001. After graduating from college, Mr. Siegel joined a large department store chain as a trainee. He then enlisted in the U.S. Army Special Forces, where he served on both active and reserve duty. In 1967, he joined Lifetime Cutlery, the predecessor to Lifetime Brands, as a salesman in the New York metropolitan area. He progressed to become the company’s Executive Vice President in 1980. Mr. Siegel has been a director of Grupo Vasconia, S.A.B., Mexico’s largest housewares company, since April 2008. Mr. Siegel has spearheaded the company’s strategic plans for growth through key alliances and acquisitions, thus securing Lifetime Brands’ position as a leading global provider of kitchenware, tableware and other products used in the home. Mr. Siegel is a founding and an active member of the Housewares Charity Foundation and a passionate supporter of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. He is the former Chairman of the International Housewares Association and serves on the Home Products Advisory Board of the Fashion Institute of Technology. Mr. Siegel is also an associate trustee of North Shore University Hospital. Mr. Siegel was honored by the Fashion Institute of Technology with its Humanitarian Award for Lifetime Achievement in 2000 and by the Housewares Charity Foundation as Humanitarian of the Year in 2007.
