DAVID P. RICCI is a Principal of William Blair & Company, L.L.C. where
he provides research coverage on 15 specialty retailers with emphasis on
home furnishings, books, jewelry, apparel, and non-store retailing.
Previously, he worked for 12 years in consumer products and retail,
including marketing and strategy positions at Proctor & Gamble, Bin &
Company, and Melville. A Chartered Financial Analyst, he received his
Sc.B. in applied mathematics and economics from Brown University and his
MBA from Harvard Business School. Mr. Ricci is married and thoroughly
