DR. DAVID GRUBER is Managing Director of WPG Farber, an equity hedge
fund, with responsibility for all areas of health care. Prior to joining
WPG Farber in February, Dr. Gruber was Senior Vice President, Equity
Research, Medical Supplies and Devices at Lehman Brothers. He was rated
a top 10 analyst by Institutional Investor and Reuters. Prior to joining
Lehman Brothers, he worked at Piper Jaffray, Vector Securities and
Sanford C. Bernstein. Prior to joining Wall Street, Dr. Gruber worked at
Bristol-Myers Squibb for nearly 10 years where he rose to the position
of Vice President, Planning and Business Development, Healthcare Group.
Dr. Gruber is a magna cum laude graduate of a combined six-year BS-MD
program, having received his BS from the City College of New York and
his MD from the Mt. Sinai School of Medicine. After a brief stint in
research, he obtained an MBA from the Columbia Graduate School of
Business. Dr. Gruber was also a Kellogg Fellow between 1990 and 1993. Profile
