H. Donald Nelson – United States Cellular (usm)

H. DONALD NELSON has been President and Chief Executive Officer of United States Cellular since March of 1987. He joined TDS in 1981 as Director of Cellular Business and has had primary responsibility for the operations of United States Cellular since 1983. His business experience of over 35 years has been primarily in marketing and sales management of new technology products for consumer and business markets for General Electric, Rockwell International, HMW Industries (Pulsar) and Texas Instruments. Mr. Nelson is on the Executive Committee of the Cellular Telecommunications Industry Association (CTIA) and serves as Treasurer for CTIA. He holds a B.A. degree and an M.B.A. degree from Northwestern University and is a member of the Kellogg School of Management Alumni Advisory Council and the Dean's Advisory Board. Profile
