GREGORY K. HINCKLEY serves as President of Mentor Graphics
Corporation. He shares the operating responsibilities for the
company with Chairman of the Board and CEO Walden Rhines. Before
Mr. Hinckley joined Mentor in January 1997, he was Senior Vice
President and Chief Financial Officer of VLSI Technology, Inc.,
in San Jose, California. In the past he held senior officer
positions with Bio-Rad Laboratories and Raychem Corporation. Mr.
Hinckley received his Bachelor of Arts in Physics from Claremont
McKenna College in Claremont, California. He was a Fulbright
Scholar in Applied Mathematics at Nottingham University in
Nottingham, England. He also holds a Master of Science degree in
Applied Physics from the University of California, San Diego and
an MBA from Harvard Business School, Cambridge, Massachusetts. Profile
