Ian McCallum is Chief Investment Officer and a Portfolio Manager at Bedlam Asset
Management. He joined the company in 2002, and has 18 years of industry
experience. He is a founding Director and shareholder of Bedlam and the primary
architect of the investment process. He has a broad experience of global equity
markets which has included several intense credit squeezes. Prior to joining
Bedlam, Mr. McCallum established and managed the research office in Istanbul for
the investment bank CLSA and was the head of research and brokerage operations
in Emerging Europe and the Middle East. He has also worked as a regional analyst
based in Djakarta and as a banking analyst based in Singapore for Merrill Lynch,
prior to which he trained in Prudential UK's Corporate Strategy Department. He
graduated from Heriot Watt University with a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree
