DONALD B. GIMBEL has been Senior Managing Director of Carret Asset Management, LLC, since October 1, 2000, and is responsible for all non-US investments. From 1996 to September 2000, he was President of Gimbel Asset Management, Inc., a global asset management company dedicated to the management of individual clients, foundations and charities wishing individual management of assets. From 1994 to 1996, he was Managing Director of Furman Selz Capital Management. Prior to that, from 1991 to 1994, he was Managing Director, Global Strategist and Partner in charge of global investing at Morse, Williams & Co. From 1986 to 1991, Mr. Gimbel was Founder and President of A&A Global. Inc., a global investment firm that he built from zero assets to $120 million in three years. From 1976 to 1985 he was a Partner in charge of investment relations for Australia and New Zealand at Kidder Peabody & Co. and from 1972 to 1976 he was Vice President in charge of Australia and New Zealand at Loeb Rhoades & Co.
