Ronald F. Valenta has served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of General Finance Corporation since its inception in October 2005. Mr. Valenta has over 22 years experience in senior management roles in the container and portable storage industries. Prior to joining General Finance Corporation, Mr. Valenta was the President and CEO of The Mobile Storage Group for 15 years, a U.S.-based portable storage company he founded. In his capacity as CEO of The Mobile Storage Group, he grew the business from four containers to become the second-largest domestic storage container business in the U.S. After 18 years, The Mobile Storage Group had grown to an enterprise value in excess of $700 million, and capitalized a U.K. business which in 18 months became the largest domestic storage container business in the U.K. Mr. Valenta received a B.S. from Loyola Marymount University.
