G. MIKE ODOM JR. is Chief Executive Officer of The Savannah Bancorp,
Inc. He joined the company's Bryan Bank & Trust subsidiary in 1996 and
served as its President until July 2004. Prior to 1996, he spent almost
10 years in the commercial banking group at SunTrust Bank, Brunswick,
Georgia. A native of Jesup, Georgia, Mr. Odom is a 1984 graduate of
Georgia Southern University (BBA, Accounting) and the Graduate School of
Banking of the South at Louisiana State University. Mr. Odom is involved
in numerous community and charitable organizations and is an active
member of the Richmond Hill United Methodist Church. Profile
