FREDRIK MARTENSSON is a Vice President and Head of Equity at Skandia
Asset Management. He has been Head of Equity since February 2000. Prior
to joining the firm, he was a Senior Portfolio Manager with SEB
Investment Management in New York. Together with three other portfolio
Managers, Mr. Martenson managed equities consisting of mutual funds,
life insurance assets and discretionary institutional mandates. In
1995, he opened SEB's first investment management operation in the
United States and managed that operation until he left in January 2000.
The main US equity fund at SEB has a 5 star ranking from Morningstar and
was ranked as one of the 50 best offshore funds in the world by Forbes
in 1998. Prior to joining SEB Investment in 1994, Mr. Martenson was
employed by Enskilda Securities as an institutional broker covering
Scandinavia and as a portfolio manager with Robur in Stockholm. He
earned a BA in Economics from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania
and an MA in Economics from Northeastern University. Profile
