FREDRIC L. HOLLIGER is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Giant
Industries, Inc. In 1989, prior to joining Giant, Mr. Holliger was
President of Northern Natural Gas Company, a division of Enron Corp.,
with headquarters in Omaha, Nebraska. He was with Enron Corp. and its
predecessor companies for 17 years. He is affiliated with a number of
industry-related organizations, including the National Petroleum
Refiners Association, New Mexico Oil and Gas Association, and the
Independent Refiners/Marketers Association. He received a Bachelor of
Science degree in Civil Engineering with an option in Petroleum
Engineering in 1970 from the University of Missouri at Rolla. He further
completed the Public Utility Executive Program in 1977 at the University
of Michigan Graduate School of Business Administration. Profile
