FRANK WILLIAMS, Chief Executive Officer of The Advisory Board Company,
has more than 10 years of experience in the Business Services and
Healthcare industries. Mr. Williams joined The Advisory Board in June
2000 as President of its New Product Development incubator and assumed
the role of Executive Vice President in September 2000, before his
promotion to CEO in June 2001. Prior to joining The Advisory Board, he
served as the President of MedAmerica OnCall, a provider of outsourced
Customer Relationship Management services to physician organizations,
hospitals, and managed care entities. Mr. Williams also served as a Vice
President of Vivra Inc., prior to the sale of its dialysis business to
Gambro Healthcare for $1.6 billion. He later served as the General
Manager of Vivra Orthopedics, an operational division of Vivra Specialty
Partners which was financed by Bain Capital, Texas Pacific Group and
Hellman & Friedman. Earlier in his career, Mr. Williams worked as a
Management Consultant for Bain & Co. and also co-founded an
international business advisory firm based in Warsaw, Poland. Mr.
Williams holds a BA in Political Science/Economics from the University
of California, Berkeley, and an MBA from Harvard Business School. Profile
