FRANK BALDINO, JR., founded Cephalon, Inc., in 1987 and serves as
Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of the company. Dr.
Baldino has nearly two decades of scientific experience in Neurobiology,
Molecular Biology and Electrophysiology, and has authored more than 100
publications in peer-reviewed journals such as Nature, Journal of
Neuroscience Research and Brain Research. Dr. Baldino received his PhD
in Pharmacology from Temple University. From 1981-1987, Dr. Baldino
served as Senior Research Biologist in the Medical Products department
at E.I. Dupont de Nemours & Company. He currently serves as a Director
of NicOx, S.A., ViroPharma, Inc., Pharmacopeia, Inc., the Jackson
Laboratory, the Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO), and
Acusphere, Inc. He holds several adjunct academic appointments,
including Adjunct Professor of Pharmacology at Temple University Medical
School, Adjunct Professor of Physiology and Biophysics and Adjunct
