M. Scott Thompson, CFA, is Managing Principal and Chief Investment Officer at Montag & Caldwell. He joined Montag in 1992 upon graduating from the University of the South with a B.A. in Economics. He held the role of Director of Research from March 2017 to November 2020, and of Co-Director of Research from June 2009 to March 2017, before being appointed CIO in November 2020.
