Sreerangan Kurup is Managing Director for Eurocor GmbH, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Opto Circuits (India) Ltd. His background is in electronic engineering, and he has more than 24 years of industry experience of leading healthcare business in electronics manufacturing. He has diverse experience in manufacturing, business development, quality management and forging major business alliances/synergies between like-minded organizations. An eye for details, the ability to pick up the nuances of businesses in technology-related areas, foresight to see through the entire manufacturing process when at the conception stage and years of experience leading diverse teams are some of the many positives that Mr. Kurup brings to the table. His professional journey started with co-founding Elekon Industries (S) Pte Ltd. in 1990, for which he oversaw the entire operation, and sales and marketing for the Asia Pacific region. With the success of Elekon, in 1998 he established a company called Astrum Technologies (S) Pte Ltd., which specialized in electronic manufacturing, technology transfer and IT consulting. To deliver on his commitments and take the company to new heights, Mr. Kurup relies on his rigorous IT background, sound professional attitude and above all, a flair for inspiring team members. Under his leadership, the company's mission has been to continually advance and improve product technology and to make it easier, more cost-effective and beneficial for people to use the latest in advanced technologies. Mr. Kurup: Eurocor was started about 10 years ago by a group of technologists. Opto acquired Eurocor in 2006.
