EUGENE W. LANDY is Founder and Chairman of the Board of United Mobile
Homes, Inc., a publicly-owned real estate investment trust engaged in
the ownership and operation of manufactured home communities. He is one
of the founders and is President of Monmouth Real Estate Investment
Corpoation, a publicly-owned real estate investment trust. Mr. Landy is
also founder and President of Monmouth Capital Corporation, a publicly-
owned real estate company which was formerly a small business investment
company. He currently serves on the Yale Law School Executive Committee.
Mr. Landy has also been a speaker on panels regarding venture capital
and real estate investment trusts. He has made numerous presentations
before security analysts, institutional investors and members of various
stockbroker societies on the merits of investing in small capitalization
real estate investment trusts. He has written professional articles on
real estate and securities. His article, 'Shareholder Investment Plans:
Benefits for Shareholders, Public Corporations and the Economy', was
published in the Fall 1989 issue of Real Estate Outlook. Mr. Landy is a
graduate of the United States Merchant Marine Academy, Class of 1955. He
was a licensed Third Mate and Lt. J.G. in the U.S. Naval Reserve. He is
a graduate of Yale Law School and is Senior Partner in the law firm of
Landy & Landy in Freehold, New Jersey. Mr. Landy is a member of the
Monmouth County Bar Association, the New Jersey Bar Association and the
