ERIC R. GILER, president and founder of Brooktrout, Inc., has
successfully led the company since 1984. Mr. Giler serves on the
National Board of Directors of the American Electronics Association
(AeA). In addition, he has served on the board of the Massachusetts
Telecommunications Council. Mr. Giler was recently named a 'Top Ten
Leader in Speech' by Speech Technology magazine readers and is a
frequent speaker at industry events including Voice on the Net (VON) and
SpeechTEK. Mr. Giler holds a bachelor of science degree from Carnegie-
Mellon University and a master's degree in business administration from
