TERRAN A. MILLER is a Senior Utility Analyst at Donaldson, Lufkin &
Jenrette, concentrating on both high grade and high yield electric
utilities and independent power producers. In 1998, he expanded his
coverage to include gas pipeline companies. Prior to joining the firm,
Mr. Miller spent four years at Merrill Lynch, where he headed their
utility research effort that covered electric utilities, telephones and
natural gas distribution and pipeline companies. During his six years at
Drexel Burnham Lambert, he headed their high-grade corporate bond
research team as well as followed the electric utility industry. He also
spent four years at Standard & Poor's Corporation, concentrating on
electric utilities in both the equity research and bond rating
departments. Mr. Miller holds a BSBA in Business Administration from
Georgetown University. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a member
