EDWARD G. NEWMAN is Chairman, President and Chief Executive
Officer of Xybernaut Corporation. His extensive background
includes eight years as President of Electro-Tech International
Corporation, a software consulting firm, and eight years with
Xerox Corporation. From 1966 to 1972, he served with the Central
Intelligence Agency. Mr. Newman has also been Executive Vice
President of Tech International since 1990 and Chief Executive
Officer of Tech Virginia since 1994. He holds a BA from the
University of Maryland and an MBA from the University of New
