DOUGLAS L. HEMER has served as a Director of Aetrium Incorporated since
1986 and has served as its Secretary since May 2000 and as its Chief
Administrative Officer since March 2001. He served as Aetrium's Group
Vice President from August 1998 to March 2001, as the President of its
Poway, California, operations from February 1997 to August 1998 and as
its Chief Administrative Officer from May 1996 until February 1997. Mr.
Hemer was a Partner in the law firm of Oppenheimer Wolff & Donnelly LLP
