DONALD K. SCHWANZ currently serves as Chairman of the Board and Chief
Executive Officer of CTS Corporation, a New York Stock Exchange listed
company which manufactures electrical components for a wide variety of
industries. Mr. Schwanz graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of
Technology in 1966 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical
Engineering. He subsequently attended Harvard's Graduate School of
Business where he earned a Master of Business Administration degree in
1968. Upon completing his MBA, he joined Sperry Univac where he served
in a variety of program management, marketing and operational positions.
In 1980, Mr. Schwanz joined Honeywell's commercial aviation business as
an Associate Business Director. Over the next 19 years, he held
positions of increasing responsibility in contract management,
marketing, and general management in various aerospace business units
within Honeywell. In 1997, he was elected to the position of President
of Honeywell's Space and Aviation business, a $2.3 billion global leader
in avionics systems. In 1999, Mr. Schwanz became President of
Honeywell's Industrial Control business, then about $2.8 billion in
annual revenues, supplying customers globally with process control
systems as well as sensing and control products. Mr. Schwanz joined CTS
Corporation as President and Chief Operating Officer in January 2001. Profile
