Donald Fusilli Jr. – Michael Baker Corporation (bkr)

DONALD P. FUSILLI JR. was elected President and Chief Executive Officer of Michael Baker Corporation on April 25, 2001. A registered Professional Engineer in Illinois and Pennsylvania, Mr. Fusilli joined the company in 1973 as an Assistant Engineer and worked on a variety of municipal projects. He spent six years in Baker's General Civil Engineering Department before obtaining his Law degree in 1979 and taking the position of Assistant General Counsel. He became General Counsel in 1984 and Corporate Secretary in 1987. He moved to Houston in 1994 as Executive Vice President Administration of the Energy group, and was appointed Executive Vice President and General Manager in 1995. Mr. Fusilli was elected President and Chief Operating Officer of the company in March 2000. In that position, he put in place a new management team and led the implementation of a successful restructuring of the company focused on its two core business segments of Engineering and Energy. Mr. Fusilli is a 1973 Civil Engineering graduate of Villanova University and holds a Juris Doctorate from Duquesne University School of Law. He also attended the Advanced Management Program at the Harvard University Business School. His professional affiliations include the National Society of Professional Engineers, Pennsylvania Society of Professional Engineers, Pennsylvania Bar Association, and the American Bar Association.
