DAVID A. WOODLE was appointed Chief Executive Officer and member of the
Board of Directors of C-COR.net Corp. in October 1998 and selected as
Chairman of the Board in October 2000. Under Mr. Woodle's leadership, C-
COR successfully implemented a five-year strategic plan between 1998 and
2003 to tap into the growing worldwide demand by cable network operators
and service providers for full network life cycle support in delivering
two-way voice, video, and data to the subscriber. Through nine strategic
acquisitions over the five-year period of the plan, C-COR repositioned
itself from a U.S-centric, single-focused manufacturer of radio
frequency (RF) equipment to a globally-oriented, diversified, multi-
division provider of optical transport, digital video, and RF
transmission products; operations management software; and technical
services to cable and other broadband network operators. Today, C-COR is
a top-tier broadband provider with a multi-billion dollar installed
equipment base worldwide and a complementary growing core business in
software and services. Building upon this strong foundation, C-COR is
launching a second five-year strategic plan in 2004 to support the next
generation of broadband network architectures. Prior to joining C-COR,
Mr. Woodle was Vice President and General Manager of Raytheon E-
Systems/HRB Systems, and led merger transition efforts to successfully
position the company in the wireless data telecommunications
marketplace. Subsequently, as General Manager of Strategic Systems for
Raytheon Systems Company, he was responsible for managing a $0.5 billion
business focused on real-time information systems integration. He
additionally served as co-President of a Korean joint venture focused on
fleet management in Asia. Mr. Woodle has had over 25 years' business and
management experience in engineering and manufacturing, with recognized
expertise in strategic planning, global business development and
partnerships, business acquisitions and mergers, and technical
innovation. Mr. Woodle serves as a Director on several Boards including
the Chamber of Business and Industry of Centre County and the Centre
County United Way. He has also served as Chairman of the CEO Group for
Centre County, Chairman of the 2000 United Way Campaign, and co-
President of the State College Field Hockey Booster Club, and is an
Elder at St. John's United Church of Christ. Mr. Woodle holds a Bachelor
of Science degree in Computer Science from the Pennsylvania State
University. Recent honors include Strathmore's Who's Who, selection as
an Outstanding Engineering Alumni from The Pennsylvania State
University, the 2001 Commencement Speaker for the Penn State College of
Engineering, and the Entrepreneur Award sponsored by Pennsylvania
Business Central, a leading regional business newspaper. Profile
