DAVID VAN HOOSE serves as President/CEO/COO of Pilgrim's Pride
Corporation. Mr. Van Hoose joined the company in 1988 as Senior Vice-
President of the company's Prepared Foods Operations. In 1990, Mr. Van
Hoose was promoted to General Manager of Mexico Operations. In 1995, he
received the promotion of President and General Director of Mexico
Operations and worked in that capacity until July 1998. Prior to his
employment with Pilgrim's Pride, Mr. Van Hoose held management positions
with several other US Poultry companies including Perdue Farms and
Cargill's. He is a graduate of Ohio State University. Profile
