DAVID THOMPSON is Co-Portfolio Manager of The First Funds Growth &
Income Equity Mutual Fund, a five star rated fund by Morningstar.
Thompson holds an undergraduate degree from the University of
Mississippi, where he majored in banking and finance. He also has an MBA
from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and is also a CFA.
David has over 12 years of experience in the money management business,
and has been with Highland since 1995. In his spare time, he enjoys
hiking, tennis, and spending time with his family. Profile
