DAVID E. MEADOR is Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of
DTE Energy company a diversified energy company involved in the
development and management of energy-related businesses and services
nationwide. Mr. Meador is responsible for investor relations, treasury,
business taxes and financial forecasting and accounting for DTE Energy
and for coordinating financing and financial matters for all DTE Energy
companies. Mr. Meador joined DTE in 1997 as Vice President and
Controller. In May 2001, the Board of Directors elected him to his
current position. In addition to Controller, Mr. Meador served as Senior
Vice President and Treasurer. His professional experience also includes
serving as a Senior Auditor for Coopers & Lybrand's Detroit officer, as
well as many years of experience driving continuous improvement and
waste reduction efforts in the automotive industry. He was also
Controller of Chrysler Corp's MOPAR auto parts division. Mr. Meador
earned a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and a Master of Business
Administration degree from Wayne State University. He is a Certified
