DAVID HATCHER has been President of KMG Chemicals, Inc., since 1984.
Prior to that time he was General Manager of the company. Mr. Hatcher
acquired the company from the previous owners in 1985 and has led the
company's growth from a small distributor of pentachlorophenol with
under $1 million in sales to its current level. He earned a Bachelor of
Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Arts degree
with a major in Economics from Brown University. He is a past President
of the American Wood Preserving Institute and is active in the Crop Life
America Association, serving on that association's Board of Directors,
and the Chemical Specialties Manufacturers Council. He also serves on
the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors for Sterling
