DAVID F. COOLEY is a Managing Director of J. & W. Seligman & Co.
Incorporated and co-Manager of the Seligman Global Investment Group.
Mr. Cooley assumes broad responsibilities within Seligman's
international growth-investing area. He has 16 years of professional
investment experience, including extensive experience managing
international large cap and small cap stocks. Mr. Cooley joined the
firm in October 2000 from Gratry and Company (Cleveland, Ohio), where he
was Managing Director, Investments, responsible for the formation of
investment policy and the management of global and international
portfolios totaling more than $600 million in assets for high net worth
and institutional clients. Previously, Mr. Cooley was Director of
Global Growth Equity for National City Investment Management Company,
where he was responsible for the management of more than $550 million in
assets, including the Armada International Equity Fund and the Parkstone
International Discovery Fund. Prior to National City Investment
Management Company, Mr. Cooley was International Equity Portfolio
Manager for Society Asset Management, where he performed fundamental
research for, and assisted in, the investment management of co-mingled,
separate accounts and mutual funds totaling more than $260 million in
assets, including the $130 million Victory International Growth Fund.
Mr. Cooley earned an MBA from Case Western Reserve University and a BS
degree in Business Administration from Bowling Green State University. Profile
