David Beckwith – Hale & Dorr Capital Management Llc

David S. Beckwith joined Hale and Dorr Capital Management LLC (HDCM) in 2001 as Managing Director. He is responsible for the overall strategic management of the firm and is actively involved in the direction and implementation of HDCM's investment strategy, new business development efforts and management of client investment portfolios. Prior to joining HDCM, Mr. Beckwith served as Senior Vice President of Brown Brothers Harriman & Co., where he spent four years managing private client and institutional assets. Previously, Mr. Beckwith managed global, international, and Pacific Basin mutual funds and related separate accounts at John Hancock Financial Services, overseeing the firm's international equity group over the last four years of his 12-year tenure. Mr. Beckwith has commented on international and various other investment issues in leading media outlets including The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, ABC World News Tonight, and CNBC. Mr. Beckwith is a CFA charter holder and received a BA in History from Trinity College and an MA in International Finance and Business from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy.
