DANIEL J. DORSCH is Chief Executive Officer, President, and Corporate
Director of Checkers Drive-In Restaurants, Inc. Mr. Dorsch joined
Checkers in December 1999. Prior to joining Checkers Drive-In
Restaurants, Inc., Mr. Dorsch was a multi-unit franchise owner for Papa
John's Pizza, earning Franchisee of the Year in 1998. Mr. Dorsch also
owned and operated franchises with Honda, Kawasaki, Yamaha, Suzuki and
Seadoo from 1994'1999. Mr. Dorsch was President and Chief Operating
Officer and shareholder for a chain of 91 Taco Bell & KFC restaurants
operating in seven states from 1984'1993. From 1989'1993 he was an
Officer of the Association of KFC Franchisees and President of the
Association in 1993. Mr. Dorsch operated a distribution company and
advertising agency concurrent with his ownership in the Taco Bell & KFC
business. Prior to 1984, Mr. Dorsch held positions in the Franchise and
Operations Departments at KFC Corporation, with responsibility for
various franchised restaurants in California, Arizona, Nevada, Hawaii
and Alaska. In 1984 he served as a Special Director of Olympic Services
for KFC during the Los Angeles Summer Olympics. Mr. Dorsch has 30 years
in the industry operating successful company and franchised quick-serve
restaurants. He has held ownership interests in 126 separate franchised
locations and has served in many high-level management positions in the
