Mark R. Litzerman, Senior Vice President of Hale and Dorr Capital
Management LLC (HDCM), joined the firm in 1999. As Director of Research
and Chief Investment Officer, he is responsible for the development and
management of HDCM's investment strategy and oversees the Investment
Research Group. In addition, he is responsible for the administration
and management of client investment portfolios. He has extensive
experience in economic, industry and company-specific research, as well
as working with complex and sensitive client relationships. Prior to
joining HDCM, he was a Vice President and Team Leader with Mellon
Private Asset Management where he managed a portfolio management group.
He gained additional experience while working for First NH Investment
Services where he developed and implemented domestic equity strategy and
portfolio risk management. His prior experience also includes serving as
head of Investment Management for Nashua Trust Company. He is a CFA
charter holder and received an MBA from the University of New Hampshire
and a BA in Communications from Purdue University. He is a member of The
Boston Security Analysts Society and Association for Investment

David S. Beckwith joined Hale and Dorr Capital Management LLC (HDCM) in
2001 as Managing Director. He is responsible for the overall strategic
management of the firm and is actively involved in the direction and
implementation of HDCM's investment strategy, new business development
efforts and management of client investment portfolios. Prior to joining
HDCM, Mr. Beckwith served as Senior Vice President of Brown Brothers
Harriman & Co., where he spent four years managing private client and
institutional assets. Previously, Mr. Beckwith managed global,
international, and Pacific Basin mutual funds and related separate
accounts at John Hancock Financial Services, overseeing the firm's
international equity group over the last four years of his 12-year
tenure. Mr. Beckwith has commented on international and various other
investment issues in leading media outlets including The Wall Street
Journal, The New York Times, ABC World News Tonight, and CNBC. Mr.
Beckwith is a CFA charter holder and received a BA in History from
Trinity College and an MA in International Finance and Business from the
Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy. He is a member of The Boston
Security Analysts Society, Association for Investment Management and
Research and serves as a Trustee for the Dedham Institution for Savings. Profile
DAVID H. THOMPSON, Senior Vice President of Hale and Dorr Capital
Management (HDCM), joined the firm in 2002 to direct and manage
the fixed income investment strategy. In addition, he is
responsible for the management of client investment portfolios
and serves on the Investment Strategy Committee. He has
consistently achieved a top quartile performance record over many
market cycles, managing tax-exempt as well as taxable bonds,
including mutual funds, institutional assets and high-net-worth
portfolios. From 1978, he held positions at FleetBoston and the
former BankBoston; most recently as Senior Vice President,
Director of Municipal Bond Management and Senior Portfolio
Manager at Fleet Investment Advisors. At BankBoston, Mr. Thompson
served as the Director of Funds Management and Senior Portfolio
Manager for its Private Bank. Mr. Thompson is a CFA charter
holder and received an MBA from F.W. Olin Graduate School of
Business at Babson College and a BS/BA in Economics from Denver
University. He serves as Director of the Fixed Income Management
Society of Boston and is a member of The New York and Boston
Societies of Security Analysts, Boston Municipal Bond Forum,
Government Bond Club, Investment Advisors Committee for the
Investment Company Institute, Financial Analysts Federation
(FAF), Boston Economics Club, Financial Planning Association, The
Boston Security Analysts Society and the Association for
