Curt J. Andersson is a Senior Vice President at The Timken Company. He
joined the company in 2000 in his current position. During his 16-year
career, Mr. Andersson served as marketing representative for IBM Corp.
in Chicago, a Management Consultant for McKinsey and Company Inc. in
Pittsburgh and a principal for A.T. Kearney Inc. (presently the Mitchell
Madison Group) in Pittsburgh and New York City. Mr. Andersson joined
General Electric as Manager, Corporate Business Development in 1994. He
also held positions at GE of Manager of Global Sourcing and Asset
Management; General Manager, Mexico Sourcing and Business Development;
and General Manager, Aviation Services, his most recent position. Mr.
Andersson was instrumental in the start up of GE's e-business for GE
Engine Services and led the diversification of GE Engine Services into
Information Services and e-commerce. Mr. Andersson received a Bachelor's
degree in Electrical Engineering from Northwestern University and a
Master of Business Administration degree from the Wharton School at the
