CRAIG F. MAIER was elected President and CEO of Frisch's Restaurants,
Inc. in November, 1989. Mr. Maier is only the third president for the
company since it incorporated in 1974. Mr. Maier joined Frisch's in 1975
as a manager trainee in restaurant operations. After owning and
operating the New Richmond Big Boy franchise, he achieved corporate
positions of Area Supervisor and Division Vice President. He was
promoted to Executive Vice President in 1988, and President and Chief
Executive Officer in 1989. Mr. Maier was elected to the Board of
Directors in 1984. A graduate of Trinity College in Hartford, Conn., Mr.
Maier served in the U.S. Army before earning an MBA from Columbia
University. Mr. Maier was named the Greater Cincinnati Restaurant
Association's Restaurateur of the Year in 1996. Mr. Maier is currently
involved on the Boards of the Cincinnati Museum of Natural History, the
Greater Cincinnati Restaurant Association, the Cincinnati Playhouse in
the Park, the Dan Beard Council Boy Scouts of America, Cincinnati
Business Committee, greater Cincinnati Convention and Visitors Bureau,
