CORY T. WALKER is Chief Financial Officer of Brown & Brown, Inc. Prior
to joining Brown & Brown he was a CPA with Ernst & Young from 1980-1992,
which he left as an Audit Senior Manager. Mr. Walker was a licensed
agent and Divisional Executive Vice President/Profit Center Manager from
1994 to 1999 with Brown & Brown. He has been Vice President, Treasurer
and Chief Financial Officer with Brown & Brown from 2000. Mr. Walker's
designations include CPCU, CIC and ARM. He received an MBA degree in
1980 from Florida State University and a BS degree in Accounting and
