William C. Carstanjen was promoted to President and Chief Operating Officer of Churchill Downs Incorporated in 2011, after serving as the company's Chief Operating Officer since 2008 and previously as Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Chief Development Officer for the company from 2005 to 2008. He joined Churchill Downs in 2005 after serving as an Executive with General Electric. Mr. Carstanjen brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to his leadership role at Churchill Downs.
