CHUCK WATSON is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Dynegy Inc.
He established NGC Corp., Dynegy's predecessor, in 1985 and served as
President until becoming Chairman and Chief Executive Officer in 1989.
Mr. Watson currently serves on the National Petroleum Council. He is a
Board member of the Interstate Natural Gas Association of America and
Edison Electric Institute (EEI), as well as a founding member of the
Natural Gas Council. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Baker
Hughes Inc. Educated in business and economics at Oklahoma State
University, Watson served as Chairman, Trustee and Governor of the OSU
Foundation. He is a Board member of Make-A-Wish Foundation of the Texas
Gulf Coast, Inc., Houston Arts Fund, Theatre Under the Stars, and the
Greater Houston Partnership. He served as Chairman of the Alexis de
Tocqueville Society 1998-99 Campaigns for the United Way of the Texas
Gulf Coast and as city-wide Chairman of the United Way's 1999-2000
fundraising campaign. Mr. Watson and his wife of 27 years, Kim, have
served as co-Chairpersons of several community organizations in and
around the Houston area and currently are co-Chairs of the Cypress Creek
Foundation for the Arts and Community Enrichment (FACE). In 1998, Child
Advocates of Houston named the Watsons 'Family of the Year.' The
Watsons' commitment to the community also includes philanthropic
outreach. Through The Watson Family Foundation, the Watsons have
personally contributed to numerous programs, initiatives and causes that
enhance the social and economic well-being of the communities where they
