CHRIS GAHAGAN is Vice President and General Manager of the Recovery and
Storage Management business unit at BMC Software, Inc., the leading
provider of e-business systems management. Mr. Gahagan has extensive
technical and managerial experience. At Sterling Software he served as
Vice President and Chief Technology Officer and was instrumental in
developing and maintaining the strategic product and technology vision
for the company's storage management group. Prior to his work with
Sterling, he was Chief Software Architect for Spectra Logic Corporation,
and during his tenure with the company, he facilitated the development
of Alexandria, the company's flagship backup product. Mr. Gahagan also
played an important role in Sterling Software's acquisition of Spectra

headquartered in Houston, Texas.
