CHARLES H. WANG is the co-director of research and senior portfolio
manager at Acadian Asset Management, a leading institutional global
equity manager with around $16 billion in assets under management.
Before joining Acadian, he was vice president at Putnam Investments in
the global asset allocation team, and has 12 years' investment
experience. He has spoken extensively at industry and academic
conferences and published in leading US and Chinese investment journals.
His article 'Global Asset Allocation: Philosophy, Process and
Performance' was published in the Journal of Investing and won
Institutional Investor's best paper award in 2000. At Acadian, Mr. Wang
leads research efforts in global investing, developed the emerging
markets country strategy and co-manages $4 billion emerging markets
portfolios and helps manage other global portfolios. Mr. Wang holds a BS
in mathematics from Beijing University, an MS from the University of
Massachusetts and a PhD in finance from Yale School of Management. He is
a member of the Q Group and Boston Committee on Foreign Relations. Profile
