JONATHAN HYKAWY trained in Nuclear Physics at the University of
Manitoba, earning his BSc in 1986 and his PhD in 1991. He has conducted
research at the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg, the Chalk River
Laboratories of AECL, Laurentian University in Sudbury and the Sudbury
Neutrino Observatory. He completed an MBA at Queen's University in
Kingston, Ontario, and worked as a venture capitalist and private
consultant, prior to entering the securities industry in early 2000 with
Canaccord Capital Corporation. In late 2003, he became one of the
founding partners at Fraser Mackenzie Limited, a boutique institutional
brokerage in Toronto, Canada. He presently covers semiconductor and
