ROBERT J. RUMMELHART, Investment Vice President of Equitrust
Investment Management Services, Inc., is responsible for the
management of all securities in the affiliated accounts and
serves as the Portfolio Manager of the fixed-income mutual funds
and as an Associate Manager of the equity funds. His fixed-income
funds have consistently been awarded 4 and 5 star ratings from
Morningstar. This rating means these portfolios are in the top
20% or higher of their respective peer groups. He received his
MBA from the University of Iowa, is a Chartered Financial
Analyst, a Fellow, Life Management Institute, and a member of the
Iowa Society of Financial Analysts. He joined the Farm Bureau

DOUG HIGGINS is a Portfolio Manager at Equitrust Investment
Management Services, Inc. In addition to serving as Associate
Manager for the mutual funds equity portfolios, he is responsible
for performing research on fixed income securities to develop
recommendations. Securities analyzed include both investment
grade and high yield securities. Prior to joining Farm Bureau, he
worked at Equitable Investment Services, Inc., (a subsidiary of
Equitable Life of Iowa) as a Portfolio Manager and Security
Analyst. He received his MBA from the University of Iowa in 1989,
where he graduated first in his class. Prior to graduate school,
he received an undergraduate degree in Forest Management from
Iowa State University and worked for the Bureau of Land
Management and the Forest Service in Oregon, California and

CHARLES T. HAPPEL, Securities Vice President of Equitrust
Investment Management Services, Inc., is responsible for equity
investments in the mutual funds and the tax-preferenced
investments in the insurance company portfolios. He received his
undergraduate degree from the University of Northern Iowa and his
MBA from Drake University. Since joining Farm Bureau in 1984, he
spent time in the mutual funds area, then joined the investment
department as an Equity Analyst. He later moved to the fixed-
income sector as a Portfolio Manager, then returned to equities
when the management of the mutual fund equity portfolios was
added to his responsibilities. He has also obtained several
insurance and investment industry designations including
Chartered Financial Analyst, Chartered Property Casualty
Underwriter, Certified Financial Planner, Chartered Financial
Consultant, Chartered Life Underwriter, and Fellow, Life
Management Institute. He is a member of the Iowa Society of
Financial Analysts and the Chicago Municipal Analyst's Society. Profile
