PETER RICCHIUTI is an assistant dean at the Freeman School of Business
at Tulane University. After working in the Boston office of the
investment banking firm of Kidder Peabody & Co., he served for five
years as the Assistant State Treasurer and Chief Investment Officer for
the State of Louisiana. There he skillfully managed the State's $3
billion investment portfolio and served on boards overseeing another $8
billion in retirement funds. In 1993, he founded Burkenroad Reports, an
investment research program at Tulane University. He and his program
have been featured in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, CNN
and CNBC. He has been a frequent contributor to several financial
sources including National Public Radio's Marketplace program and Family
Money magazine. He is a popular speaker at meetings and conferences
throughout the world. His unique presentation style puts him in front of
a wide variety of audiences, including his selection by the NFL to teach
