BRUCE C. EDWARDS joined Powerwave Technologies, Inc., as
President and Chief Executive Officer in February 1996 and is
also a member of Powerwave's Board of Directors. Powerwave is a
leading independent supplier of highly linear RF power amplifier
products for the wireless communications industry. Prior to
joining Powerwave, Mr. Edwards was at AST Research, Inc., for 11
years, serving most recently as Executive Vice President and
Chief Financial Officer and a member of its Board of Directors.
Prior to his tenure at AST, Mr. Edwards served in senior
financial positions with AMDAX Corporation, a manufacturer of RF
