BRAD MATTSON is Chief Executive Officer of Mattson Technology, Inc. He
is recognized for both his technical expertise and leadership qualities
in the semiconductor equipment industry. Mr. Mattson founded Mattson
Technology in November 1988 and has served as the CEO since the
company's inception. He is also the founder of Novellus Systems, Inc.
and served as its President and CEO from 1983 to 1987. Prior to his post
at Novellus Systems, Mr. Mattson held executive positions at Applied
Materials and LFE Corporation. He holds a Bachelor's degree in
Aeronautical Engineering and a Master's of Business Administration from
