BOB HOWARD-ANDERSON is President and Chief Executive Officer of Occam
Networks, Inc. He joined Occam Networks in March 2002 from Procket
Networks, where he was Vice President of Product Operations with
responsibility for R&D, product management and manufacturing operations.
He has over 20 years' experience in the data and telecommunication
equipment industries, managing large R&D and product development
organizations at an executive level. Prior to Procket Networks, Mr.
Howard-Anderson was Vice President of Engineering for Sun Microsystems,
Inc., where he was responsible for developing and introducing a broad
portfolio of products for central office and service provider markets,
including the highly successful line of carrier-grade Netra servers.
Prior to Sun, he held positions of VP of Engineering at First Pacific
Networks and Network Equipment Technology, as well as management
positions at Bolt Baranek and Newman (BBN), and Octocom, Inc. He holds a
BS in Electrical Engineering and Physics from Tufts University. Profile
